In Mobile Banking:
- Click More.
- Click the Cards drop-down menu.
- Select Card Management.
In Online Banking:
- Hover over the Cards drop-down menu.
- Select Card Management.
- From the Card Management tool, click Manage Travel Plans.
- Click Add Travel Plan to add countries and U.S. states you may visit to ensure you can use your card without interruption while traveling.
Please note, travel plans can be set up to two weeks at a time. If you are traveling for more than two weeks, you will need to set the additional dates separately.
- From the Card Management tool, click Report Lost or Stolen.
- You will be prompted to call our member service line for assistance. Simply click Call to get started. Calling us straight from your mobile app ensures a smooth and seamless experience. Please note, by selecting Call, your card will be turned off to prevent unauthorized payments. Recurring payments will still occur.
Yes! If you have card controls set up in CardValet®, they will carry over to Card Management.
Check to make sure your device is set to primary.
- Navigate to Card Management and click the Settings
- Click Primary Device.
- Make sure the toggle is set to On.
Make sure you have allowed the Educators Mobile Banking app the ability to send notifications.
iPhone users:
- Click the phone’s
- Click Notifications.
- Tap the Educators CU App.
- Toggle Notifications to
Android users:
- Click the phone’s Settings Icon.
- Click Apps.
- Tap the Educators CU App.
- Make sure Notifications are set to Allow.
- Make sure Permissions are set for Notifications.
Yes! Once you start using Card Management, you should delete the CardValet® app. Please note, if you decide to keep the CardValet® app and use Card Management, you will receive two push notifications for each transaction.
If your card is turned off, you will have to turn it on before using it. Please note, you should not turn your card off in Online Banking unless you also use our Mobile Banking app, so you can turn your card on when using it.
Recurring transactions, such as streaming services or other monthly payments displayed in the Card on File section, will still process when cards are turned off.
You must be on the most current version of the Educators CU app and have Android 13 or Apple iOS 16.5.1 to use the Educators CU app and Card Management. If you are using an older version of OS/iOS, the app may work but some features may not be fully functional.
